Well my darling girl, it would have been your 18th year. The Summer Ball on the 9 July was a huge success and we remembered you in an environment fit for a Princess. On your birthday the 17 July friends and family gathered to remember and celebrate what a wonderful and amazing girl you were. I do hope that you enjoyed the singing and the wonderful latern we sent up to celebrate your life. We remember you every day and the pain of loosing you does not get easier, hope you are safe and flying high above those clouds. You will always be the star that guides us all. All our love Mum, Dad, Alex, Daniel,Rod xxx

I came across this website unintentionally and since reading previous comments could not leave without expressing my own regards. As a teenager of 16 myself this website is truely inspirational. The thought of cancer terrifies me and i have the upmost respect for your bravery and courage - of which i think given your situation i would not have. You are beautiful and i will never forget you

My dearest darling Emily. Three years since you lost your battle, but your fight showed us what an incredible young lady you were. Such spirit, such resilance, your amazing humour, your beautiful smile and positive outlook throughout. I am so proud to have been your father and thank you so much for everything you taught me and for all your love. I am truly heartbroken and miss you every single day. Yet I know you watch over, inspire and guide me. Thank you for being you. Until we meet again. I love you. Dad XXX

I have just come across this site and could not leave without leaving a message. What a truly beautiful memorial site and dedicated obviously to a much loved brave courageous yong girl. Such a tragic loss of such a young life, but I can see she has left you with many fond memories that will carry you through the good and the bad times. I lost my sister in law to breast cancer aged just 33 and it is something that you never get over even though time is a great healer the pain never truly heals. But I have learnt that memories are the key to carrying on as they allow them somebody to stay alive forever. Continue your heartfelt work my thoughts are with you. Jodie

I just found this website and wanted to say how much I admire both the courage Emily showed and the way in which you are helping others with this evil desease. I also lost my daughter Zoe to Leukaemia in March this year aged only 18, and know just how hard it is to come to terms with. I am also planning a fund raising event for the Teenage Cancer Trust and will be running around 70 miles next year with a few others in a bid to raise as much money as we possibily can, I just hope we can come close to the success your fund raising has had. This website has really given me the inspiration I was lookng for in my bid to try and make a difference to others with Leukaemia in the hope they, unlike my precious daughter can beat this desease and live out their hopes and dreams. Keep up the terrific work you guys are doing, it is without a doubt worth ever minutes effort put in and every pound donated.
